Situation

Solution

Chiller has not the same environmental conditions as the projector (e.g. new chiller installed).

Wait until the projector, chillers and hoses are completely acclimatized. Ensure that the environmental conditions comply with the installation specifications. See chiller and projector installation manual for detailed installation requirements.

Note: For a first install the time needed to acclimatize depends on the environmental storage conditions of the projector, chillers and hoses. In extreme conditions the acclimatization time may take several hours.

Blocked drain tubes preventing that condensed water is removed from the projector.

  1. Ensure that the drain system complies with the condensed water drain requirements as described in the installation manual of the projector.

  2. Ensure that none of the drain tubes gets squeezed.

  3. Ensure that the drain tubes are not clogged.

  4. Check inside the sealed compartment if no draining water remains in the gutter of the Airdryer.

Dew point inside the sealed compartment is higher then the ambient dew point.

In case the dew point inside the sealed compartment is higher then the ambient dew point then it's safe to open the sealed compartment to let the humidity level of the sealed compartment equalize to the ambient level.

Tip: Use the Communicator to retrieve and compare the dew points inside the sealed compartment with the ambient dew point (LCB compartment).

Caution: Never open the sealed compartment if the dew point outside is higher then inside the sealed compartment.
