Group code f-e-e2e0d9d6c-: “laser driver version check fail”

It's most likely that together with this error code another error code is displayed which indicates which laser driver is actually failing. If this is the case see service manual chapter "Location of the main components of the projector", to know the physical location of the specific laser driver.

Situation

Solution

The firmware version of the laser driver board doesn't match with the version on the LCB.

  1. Upgrade the firmware of the laser driver board. For detailed instructions see user guide of the Communicator.

  2. If problem persist, replace the laser cluster. Replace the laser cluster. See service chapter "Replacement process of a Laser Cluster".
