Group code f-e-e2d15i157c-: “laser driver <X> dac <Y> range high (no output current flow)”

Note

The parameter <X> in the group code description corresponds with the cluster driver identification in the error code description (e.g. X = R-C1-D1 → RED channel, Cluster No. 1, Driver No. 1). See error codes in diagnostic window in Communicator to know which value is represented by X. To know the physical location of the cluster driver see service manual chapter "Location of the main components of the projector".

Note

The parameter <Y> in the mask code description corresponds with the DAC identification number in the error code description (e.g. Y = “dac 1”). See diagnostic window in Communicator to know which value is represented by Y.

Situation

Solution

The laser enable hardware line is low.

  1. Check if all covers of the sealed projector compartments are correctly installed.

  2. Check errors about triggered laser safety switches. If found, resolve these first.

Temporally phenomenon during startup phase.

  1. Wait one minute. Probably the problem will be resolved after the startup phase.

  2. If the problem persist, check for error/warning/maintenance messages regarding '... number of lasers unintentionally off too high' and resolve these issues using the related troubleshooting checklist.

Laser not connected with driver board, or bad contact, or malfunction laser.

Replace laser cluster X. See service chapter "Replacement process of a Laser Cluster".
