The safety controller is triggered by an external interlock
event. The error message “safety controller switch open” is also displayed.

Check if the beam stop button (Emergency button) is pushed.
If pushed, resolve the cause and then quarter turn the beam stop button
to restore its normal operation position.

Check if the external safety interlocks (if installed) are not
triggered. If triggered, resolve the cause and restore the normal
operation position of the external interlocks.

In case no external safety interlocks are installed check if
the connector (reference 1 image),
with shunt wires to bypass the external interlocks, is correctly installed.

Finally, after all safety controller switch issues are resolved,
switch the beam enable key (Master key) off and on to reset the safety
controller.

First install of the projector.

Check if the beam stop button (Emergency button) is in its normal
operation position (not pressed in). If not, quarter turn the beam
stop button.

Check if the external safety interlocks (if installed) are in
the normal operation position.

In case no external safety interlocks are installed check if
the connector (reference 1 image)
with shunt wires to bypass the external interlocks is correctly installed.

Finally, switch the beam enable key (Master key) off and on
to reset the safety controller.
