Group code f-e-e10e0d8d6c-: “light sensor communication fail”

Situation

Solution

Wire of Light Sensor board disconnected.

  1. Check if the wire (reference 1 image) is connected with the Light Sensor board.

  2. Check if the wire (reference 7 image) is connected with the Laser Control board.

Damage wire or connector causing an open or short circuit.

Check if the wire between Light Sensor board and Laser Control board is damaged. Repair or replace the damaged wire.

Malfunction Light Sensor board. +5 volt is measured on pin with the red wire of the Light Sensor connector (reference 1 image)

Replace the Light Sensor board. See service procedure "Replacement of the Light Sensor".

The ++5V LED on the LCB is off while other LEDs shows activity. This may indicates a short circuit. (reference 2 image)

  1. Check if there are any error or warning message related to power. If so, resolve these first.

  2. Check for short circuit on the Light Sensor board. If so, replace the Light Sensor board. See service procedure "Replacement of the Light Sensor"..

  3. Check for short circuit in the wire between Light Sensor board and Laser Control board. Repair or replace the damaged wire.

  4. Malfunction ++5V power circuitry on the Laser Control board. Replace Laser Control board. See service procedure "Replacement of the Laser Control Board (LCB)".
