Code DOWS0009: “video mute error”

Situation

Solution

Dowser cannot open, mute failed, lasers are switched off to prevent hardware damage.

  1. Check for (sticky*See footnote) error/warnings related to dowser and try to resolved these first.

    (* Sticky error/warnings are a snapshot of error and warnings and displayed indent in Communicator.)

  2. Check if the ICMP is fully operational. If not reset the ICMP. See reset procedure described in the projector installation manual.

  3. If persist, replace the ICMP. See service procedure "Replacement of the ICMP Board".
