Code 6044: “engine air - temperature sensor open” (Error)

Situation

Solution

Wire unit (reference 14image) of the temperature sensor is disconnected from the Formatting Interface Board.

Plug the wire unit of the temperature sensor into its socket on the Formatting Interface Board.

Damaged wire unit of the temperature sensor (reference 4 image).

  1. Repair the wire unit.

  2. If not repairable, replace the whole wire unit and temperature sensor.

Defect temperature sensor (reference 4 image).

Replace the temperature sensor.
