First install of Laser Driver Module

Upgrade the software. See procedure "Software update via Communicator (DC update companion)".

LDM has no power

Make sure the LDM is powered. Make sure it is correctly wired.

Cable issues between LDM and LCB

1. Check communication wiring between LDM and Laser Control Board (connector J500). Make sure it is properly inserted.

2. If problem persists, replace the communication cable.

There are other LDM / LDM 2 communication errors: Malfunction LCB

1. Check if the communication wire between the LDM, LDM 2 and Laser Control board (Z3403440) is properly inserted on all ends.

2. If problem persists, replace the LCB. See service procedure "Replacement of the Laser Control Board".
