Solution |
|---|---|
|
Ambient temperature too high. |
Check the ambient temperature at the air inlets of the projector. Make sure that the ambient temperature does not exceed 35°C (95°F). |
|
Blocked large dust filter. |
Clean the large dust filter or replace with new one. See service manual chapter "Check the large dust filter". |
|
Blocked small dust filter. |
Clean the small dust filter or replace with new one. See service manual chapter "Check the small dust filter". |
|
Malfunction air extraction system. |
Check the condition of the air extraction system. The air extraction system must be capable of removing minimum 4 m³/min (140 CFM) per installed DP2K-SLP Series digital projector. Note: limit the amount of extraction to a maximum of 5m3/min (180 CFM). Excessive air extraction can dramatically speed-up contamination of the projector air inlet filters, hence requiring more regular filter cleaning interventions. |
|
Defect temperature sensor. |
Replace the temperature sensor (reference 3 image) on the heatsink of the Light Pipe entrance. |
