Code 5964: “lightpipe - temperature sensor open” (Error)

Situation

Solution

Wire unit (reference L ) of the temperature sensor is disconnected from the FormattingInterface Board.

Plug in the wire unit of the temperature sensor into its socketon the Formatting Interface Board.

Damaged wire unit of the temperature sensor (Reference S ) which measures the temperature of thewater cooling block of the light pipe entrance.

  1. Repair the wire unit.

  2. If not repairable, replace the whole wire unit and temperaturesensor.

Defect temperature sensor (Reference S ) on the water cooling block of the lightpipe entrance.

Replace the temperature sensor.
