Code 5503: “fib+12v - voltage low” (Warning)

Situation

Solution

The +12 volt supply voltage for the Formatting Interface Boardis almost below its minimum limit.

  1. Check if the SMPS board is working. The green LED “++15VM”should light up. If not, replace the SMPS board.

  2. Replace the Fan & Motor Control board.

  3. Check the power backplane for bad connections.
