Corrupt lens file.

Delete all current lens files and create new lens files. Notethat each time the lens is removed new lens files has to be created.Setup all new lens files away from the maximum limitation of the lenszoom. It is possible that lens file was originally created at themaximum or minimum zoom capabilities of the lens zoom. Program correctlens type into communicator under Advanced/lens parameters and recreatethe lens files.

The final lens position lays very close to the mechanical limitswhich disable the motorized lens position.

Position the lens manually, or reposition the projector so thatthe lens position lays further away from the mechanical limits, ortry to use another lens which range is more suitable. Setup all newlens files away from the maximum limitation of the lens zoom. It ispossible that lens file was originally created at the maximum or minimumzoom capabilities of the lens zoom. Program correct lens type intocommunicator under Advanced/lens parameters and recreate the lensfiles.

Disconnected wire unit of the horizontal shift motor of themotorized lens holder.

Remove the front cover of the projector and check if all wireunits at the left bottom of the lens holder are connected. See referenceSH and FZ.

Remove the Input & Communication Unit and check if the wireunit of the lens and lens holder motors is inserted. See referenceLC.

Malfunction Fan & Motor Control board.

Replace the Fan & Motor Control board.

Malfunction shift motor of the motorized lens holder.

Use the local keypad to shift the image on the screen horizontally.If unsuccessful, replace the horizontal shift motor of the motorizedlens holder.

Malfunction Power Backplane (bad connection).

Replace the Power Backplane.

Malfunction SMPS board which supplies power to the lens.

Replace the SMPS board.
